James Carroll Timmerman

James Carroll Timmerman passed away peacefully at the age of 82 on July 17th, 2022.  Jim was born July 18th, 1939, in Floresville, TX to August and Agnes Timmerman. He grew up in Hondo and graduated Hondo High School and attended Southwest Junior College in Uvalde, TX. Jim entered the Service for U.S. Airforce and was stationed at McConnell AFB, Wichita, KS. He married Dolores Shelton and raised two daughters in Portland, TX. He later married Judy Nester in 1994, and they resided in Ricardo TX.

Jim loved to fish and hunt game. He also liked to cook. Jim had several career tracks throughout the years including sales, banking and law enforcement. In retirement, Judy and Jim contributed their time and passion to serving others at the Food Pantry located at the First Christian Church in Kingsville.  Everyone who met Jim enjoyed his sense of humor and clever wit.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Judith Timmerman; daughters, Robyn Timmerman and Tracy Timmerman Callow; stepsons, Ron Beasley and Russell Beasley; stepdaughter, Lisa Nunez; sisters, Mary Bain and Frances Gregory; 9 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive condolences at 9:30AM on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary; with a memorial service held at 10:30AM.  Services will conclude that morning.
