James Martin

James Stephen Martin, age 51, went to be with Our Lord on May 2, 2018. James was born on May 22, 1966 in Snyder, TX to his parents James W. and Cynthia Martin. Stephen was a resident of Riviera, TX. He had owned and operated the Back-O-Bay hunting and fishing Guide and as a guide he received his Merchant Marine Master Captain License. Stephen was also a master wood craftsman and refinisher and was a member of Kingsway Church in Kingsville. Stephen will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Christine and Jasper Millegan and his paternal grandparents Beatrice and Lee Martin.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Martin of Riviera; his parents, James and Cynthia Martin of Kingsville; two sons, Chris and Casey Rios; two brothers, Kenneth (Elia) Martin of Beeville, TX, and Kevin (Kassie) Martin of Kingsville; one sister, Stacy (Ron) Keiper of Kingsville, TX and nine grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday May 9, 2018 from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Turcotte Piper Mortuary with a Funeral Service to begin at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Chamberlain Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd. Kingsville, TX 78363.
