James Helms

James R. Helms, age 66, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at his residence. He was born September 12, 1949 in San Juan, Puerto Rico to Sherwin Helms and Mary Rhodes Helms. He was a U.S Army veteran serving during the Vietnam Era.
He is survived by his wife, Maria Elsa Helms of Kingsville; son, Kyle Helms (Caitlin) of Omaha, Nebraska; and two granddaughters.
A Celebration of Life gathering will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday, August 8, 2016 at his residence.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
