Israel Villarreal

Israel Villarreal, age 74, passed away on April 12, 2017 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born April 9, 1943 in Ben Bolt, Texas to Fermin Villarreal and Tomasita Diaz. He was fondly known as the "Charanga King" to his family and friends because he loved to dance. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his wife Medeli, parents, and daughter, Mary Yvette.
Israel is survived by his four sons, Israel Villarreal (Ashley Mentzer), Miguel "Red" Sandoval (Amy), Joey Sandoval, and Johnny Sandoval (Priscilla),three brothers, Lupe Villarreal, Juan Villarreal, and Humberto Villarreal, 14 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on April 14, 2017 from 1:00p.m. Till 9:00pm at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary with a prayer service at 7p.m. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00a.m.on April 15, 2017 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Interment followed at the Chamberlain Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
