Irma Gomez

Irma Martinez Gomez, age 65, a resident of Alice, Texas and a former longtime resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2013. She was born March 25, 1948 in Kingsville to Nicolas P. Martinez and Elisa Garcia Martinez. Mrs. Gomez was employed as a certified nursing assistant in Kingsville until her retirement. She was a member of Wings of Fellowship and Revival Church, Agua Dulce, Texas.
Mrs. Gomez was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Roberto A. Gomez of Alice three sons, Ruben Ramirez III Rosabel of Corpus Christi, Texas, Roberto Rolando Ramirez Esmeralda and Javier Ramirez Pamela, both of Kingsville two brothers, Homero G. Martinez Emma and Nicolas G. Martinez Janie, both of Kingsville and nine grandchildren.
Visitation will take place after 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 3, 2013 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, June 3, 2013 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow in Kingsville at the Santa Gertrudis Cemetery.
