Inez True

Inez Van Meter True passed away at her home on Monday, December 16, 2013. She was born April 2, 1921 in Orange, Texas to Van V. Van Meter and Mary Elizabeth Bain. She graduated from Bishop High School in 1938. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Bishop. Mrs. True, a homemaker took over farming after her husbands death. Inez was a member of the Bishop Music Club, Bishop Garden Club, Harden Study Club, the Red Cross of Nueces County and the Bishop Cemetery Association.
Mrs. True was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin True son, Edwin Ernest True III Eddie and granddaughter, Molly Gaye Arnold her parents and two brothers, Van V. and Billy H. Van Meter.
She is survived by her daughter, Donna Gaye True Arnold Gary and son, Dan True, all of Bishop three grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren.
Visitation will be at the True home. Graveside service will be held at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at Restland Cemetery, Bishop.
