Hortense "Bunny" Lockwood, age 76, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Monday, March 23, 2015 in Kingsville. She was born February 8, 1939 in Austin, Texas to Manuel Andrada and Amelia DeLaRosa Andrada. Mrs. Lockwood in her early years was an elevator operato for the Austin Hotel, Austin, Texas. She was of the Catholic faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Lockwood; father, Manuel Andrada; and brother, Ruben Andrada.
Hortense is survived by her mother, Amelia Andrada of Austin; one daughter, Debora Myers (Raymond) of Austin; one son, Pernell Lockwood (Judy) of Kingsville; two brothers, Manuel Andrada Jr. of Austin and Frank Andrada of Dale, Texas; four sisters, Aurora Samiengo of Austin, Adelina Jimenez of Galveston, Texas, Rebecca Curtis of Houston, Texas, and Estella Andrada of Austin; two grandchildren, Laura Grimes and Heather Lockwood; and four great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, March 29, 2015 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Jim M. Curran officiating. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 2, 2015 at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery, Pflugerville, Texas.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
