Homer Cavasos Colin, 65, a Kingsville, Texas resident, passed away on August 24, 2013. He was born on May 25, 1948 to Alfredo and Isabel Colin in Kingsville, Texas.
Homer was a member of St. Josephs Catholic Church and was a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan. He retired after 28 years from 3P Ranch, owner Phil Neessen Chevrolet.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 33 years, Maria Yolanda De La Garza Robles Colin daughter, Krystal Austin Colin brother, Arturo Colin.
Homer is survived by his sons, Homer Rosalinda Vasquez Colin, Jr. and Robert A. Lorinda Longoria Colin, both of Kingsville three grandsons, Michael, Malcolm, and Aiden 5 granddaughters, Clarissa, Sierra, Savanah, Samantha, and Sienna one brother, Alfredo Olivia Colin of Kingsville and sister, Margie Joe Lopez of Del Rio, Texas.
Visitation was held from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at TurcottePiper Mortuary. Funeral Mass was held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at St. Josephs Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery.
