Herminia Villarreal

Herminia Reyes Villarreal passed away peacefully in her sleep, at the Heart-to-Heart Hospice Assisted Living Center in San Antonio after a long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease on Friday, April 7, 2023, at the age of 80. She was born April 25, 1942, to Manuel and Carlota Reyes and raised in Kingsville, Texas; later moved to San Antonio. Herminia dedicated her life to taking care of family members and loving her friends; always putting others first before her own needs. She will be deeply missed and remembered by those who loved her.

Hermina is finally reunited with her loving husband, Jose S. Villarreal; her grandson, Jose M. Villarreal; and parents, in her beautiful kingdom of heaven.

Among those left to cherish her memory are her children, Jose R. Villarreal Jr. and Cynthia V Guenther; and granddaughter, Rosie C. Villarreal.

The family will receive condolences on Friday, April 14, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary; with a holy rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. A mass of christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM, on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at St. Martin Catholic Church. A Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Santa Gertrudis Cemetery.
