Hermila Hinojosa

Hermila H. Hinojosa, age 78, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2013 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was born July 16, 1935 in Bishop, Texas to Octavio Hernandez and Guadalupe Garza Hernandez. Mrs. Hinojosa was an Avon representative in the Kingsville area until her retirement. She was also an election clerk. Mrs. Hinojosa was an active member of Templo Betel Assembly of God Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Matias G. Hinojosa Jr. parents son, David Carlos Hinojosa two grandchildren, Johnny Orlando DeLaRosa and John David Moreno and brother, David G. Esquivel.
Mrs. Hinojosa is survived by four daughters, Graciela Esquivel, Rosalinda Moreno Juan, Norma DeLaRosa Modesto Morales and Mary Jane Anzaldua Tomas , all of Kingsville three brothers, Octavio Hernandez Jr. Alma of Kingsville, Hector Hernandez Bessie of Houston, Texas and Gilbert Esquivel Elena of Kingsville three sisters, Yolanda Hernandez of Rosenberg, Texas, Alma Acuna Antonio of San Antonio, Texas and Sylvia Torre of Harlingen, Texas 10 grandchildren, Raul Esquivel Jr. Virginia, Ismael Esquivel Lisa, David Wayne Esquivel Criselda, Gilbert Omar DeLaRosa, Olivia Jo DeLaRosa, Deborah Luna, Chawita Luna, Tiffany Anzaldua Gavin, Savannah Anzaldua Nathan, Derrick Anzaldua and six greatgrandchildren, Nathaniel Jose Esquivel, Brandon Luna, Brice Luna, Brianna Luna, Kayla Scarboro, Draven Hicks.
Visitation will take place after 4:00 p.m. Sunday, September 22, 2013 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel. Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. Sunday, September 22, 2013 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel. Prayer service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, September 22, 2013 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, September 23, 2013 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Manuel N. Garza Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Kingsville at the Santa Gertrudis Cemetery.
