Hermila Garcia

Hermila G. Garcia, age 92, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Monday, July 24, 2017 in Kingsville. She was born June 17, 1925 in Kingsville to Jorge Pena Garcia and Fidela Guerra Garcia.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Heberto Garcia (late Ofelia) and Fidel Garcia (late Lydia); and two sisters, Santos Garcia and Sulema G. Martinez (late Nazario).
Hermila is survived by one brother, Ysauro "Y.G." Garcia and wife Alma of Kingsville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, July 27, 2017 at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church with Fr. Peter Thenan as celebrant. Burial will follow in Kingsville at Chamberlain Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
