Henrietta Pearson

Henrietta Meyer Pearson, age 99, a resident of Corpus Christi, Texas and a former longtime resident of Bishop, Texas passed away Thursday, November 28, 2013. She was born October 6, 1914 in Runge, Texas to Willie Adolph Meyer and Janie Sophie Huebner Meyer. She was employed by the Bishop I.S.D. as an elementary school teacher until her retirement in 1975. She was a faithful member of St. John Lutheran Church, Bishop.
Mrs. Pearson was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Hubbard son, George two brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by one sister, Ludine Pfennig of Taylor, Texas two daughters, Nancy Smith Carl of Bishop and Sarah Anderson Monnie of Austin, Texas son, David Pearson Vickie of Corpus Christi daughterinlaw, Marjorie Pearson of Ingleside, Texas eight grandchildren and 10 greatgrandchildren.
Visitation will take place after 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at St. John Lutheran Church, 301 East Main Street, Bishop. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at St. John Lutheran Church with Rev. Melvin Antonio and Rev. Marcia Kline officiating. Burial will follow in Bishop at Restland Cemetery.
