Helen Urban

Helen L. Urban, age 83, a resident of Alice, Texas passed away Thursday, September 29, 2016 in Kingsville. She was born November 15, 1932 in Thorndale, Texas to Alvin Felfe and Alma Lehman Felfe. Mrs. Urban was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Bishop.
Mrs. Urban was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Monroe Urban; and son-in-law, Malcolm Schroeder.
She is survived by one daughter, Cynthia Schroeder of Bishop; one sister, Joyce Reed; two brothers, Gilbert Felfe and Curtis Felfe; one grandson, Jason Schroeder (Kendra); and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, October 2, 2016 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, October 3, 2016 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 801 East Main Street, Bishop, with Rev. Matthew T. Ulmer officiating. Burial will follow in Alice at Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
