Guillermo Martinez

Guillermo Martinez, age 70, a resident of Falfurrias, Texas and a former longtime resident of Bishop, Texas passed away Monday, July 29, 2013 in Falfurrias. He was born June 25, 1943 in Bishop to Senaido Martinez and Maria Martinez. Mr. Martinez was a farm laborer. He was of the Catholic faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents two sister, Luciana M. Hunter and Virginia M. Figueroa and two brothers, Juan Martinez and Emilio Martinez.
Guillermo is survived by one brother, Maximino Martinez Francisa of Bishop and three sisters, Catarina Rodriguez, Anselma R. Martinez and Higinia M. Sanchez, all of Bishop.
Visitation will take place after 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 1, 2013 at St. Martins Catholic Church, Kingsville, with Fr. Jose Naul Ordonez as celebrant. Burial will follow in Bishop at St. James Catholic Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to TurcottePiper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
