Gregorio Gonzalez, Jr.

Gregorio V. Gonzalez Jr., 73, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Monday, February 26, 2018 at his residence. He was born February 20, 1945 in Kingsville to Gregorio C. Gonzalez Sr. and Leonor Villanueva Gonzalez. Mr. Gonzalez was employed for Safety Glass Company, Henry's Glass Shop and retiring from the Kingsville Independent School District.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Jesus Gonzalez; and one sister, Manuela Gonzales.
Mr. Gonzalez is survived by his wife of 52 years of marriage, Juanita Gonzalez of Kingsville; three daughters, Yolanda Sanchez (Felix) and Yvonne Gonzales (Juan), both of Kingsville, and Yvette Garcia (Cerrone) of San Antonio, Texas; one son, Gregorio G. Gonzalez III (Jeanette) of Bishop, Texas; three sisters, Anita Garcia of Kingsville, Leonor Hernandez of Pasadena, Texas and Dalia Vela of Kingsville; five brothers, Guadalupe Gonzalez and Juan Jose Gonzalez, both of Kingsville, Ricardo Gonzalez of Houston, Texas, George Gonzalez of Denton, Texas and Rafael Gonzalez of Kingsville; 14 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 1, 2018 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Fr. Juan Fernando Gamez as celebrant. Burial will follow in Kingsville at Chamberlain Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
