Gloria Rivas Berry

Gloria Rivas Berry, a beloved mother, sister, aunt, and friend passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2024. Gloria touched the lives of many with her kind heart and vibrant spirit.
 
Gloria had a passion for various hobbies and interests that brought her immense joy. She found solace in gardening, creating beautiful quilts, decorating for holidays with flair, writing captivating short stories, indulging in reading sessions, and exploring the world of comic books.
 
She leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth cherished by her surviving family members and friends. While Gloria may no longer be physically present among us, her memory will forever remain alive in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.  May she rest in peace, surrounded by the beauty of the gardens she tended with care and the stories she shared so generously.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Garey Berry; parents, Adalberto Saenz and Berta Rivas Naranjo; siblings, Herlinda Naranjo Guerero, Adalberto Naranjo, Jr., Alma Angelina Naranjo, and Elva Luz Naranjo Garcia.

Among those left to cherish her memory are her children, Bernadette Berry, Christopher (Maribel Johnson) Berry, Anthony Berry; brother, Jesse Naranjo; sister, Yvonne Naranjo; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

The family will receive condolences at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at Retama Baptist Church; with a celebration of Gloria's life to begin at 11:00 a.m.  Services will conclude that morning.
