Gladys Ballard

Gladys M. Ballard, age 87, a resident of San Antonio, Texas and a former resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Friday, February 12, 2016 in San Antonio. She was born January 13, 1929 in Mineral, Texas to L.M. Malone and Harriet Lydia Dubose Malone. Mrs. Ballard was employed as a professional beautician in the San Antonio area. She was also a member of the Corpus Christi Bowling Club. Mrs. Ballard was of the Catholic faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sons, Bill and Jack Ballard.
Mrs. Ballard is survived by five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 18, 2016 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 18, 2016 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel with Sister Elizabeth Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Kingsville at Chamberlain Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
