Gilbert (Trey) Cade, 62, passed away on Monday, February 14, 2022, in Corpus Christi, Texas after a long illness.
Trey was born in Kingsville, Texas on October 24, 1959. He was a lifelong professional land surveyor, avid hunter, jokester, and later in life, a lover of antiques and flea markets. His favorite thing in the world was to spend time with his four sons.
Trey is preceded in death by his parents, Gil & Jo Cade, long term residents of Kingsville.
He is survived by his four sons: Richard Randal Cade (Brianna and his only grandchild, Henley Nicole Cade) of Midland, Samuel Burson Cade of Calallen, Matthew Dalton Cade and Ty Alexander Cade, both of San Antonio. Along with his sons, he is survived by his two stepchildren: Paul Silguero (Joanna) and Nikki Pereira. Trey is also survived by his stepmom, Beckey Cade of La Porte. He also leaves behind his sisters: Dee Dee Cade Augustine (Bill) of Baytown and Karen Cade Wesp (Tom) of Spring Branch, Texas. Trey is survived by several nieces and nephews: Clay Augustine (Kristi) of Huffman, Holly Robison (Joseph) of Mont Belvieu, Cade Augustine (Alexa) of Baytown, Matthew Wesp of College Station and Kyler Wesp of Austin.
Trey's family and friends will have a chance to say goodbye to him at a grave side ceremony on Saturday, March 12, 2022, at 11:00 am at the Chamberlain cemetery in Kingsville. This will be followed by a "Celebration of Trey's Life" and BBQ at his lifelong friend's residence in Ricardo following at 2:00 pm.
