Gilberto Rodriguez

Gilberto "Teto" Garcia Rodriguez, age 66, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Thursday, May 17, 2018 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born September 23, 1951 in Kingsville to Gilberto Abundio Rodriguez and Esperanza Garcia Rodriguez. Gilberto was a former employee of Kleberg County. He was a member of St. Martin's Catholic Church.
Teto was preceded in death by his wife, Maria G. Rodriguez (May 5, 2015); and father, Gilberto Abundio Rodriguez.
Gilberto is survived by one daughter, Heather Marie Palacios (Thomas) of Corpus Christi; one son, Gilberto Rodriguez III (Cecilia) of Kingsville; mother, Esperanza Rodriguez of Riviera, Texas; one brother, Gustavo Rodriguez of Riviera; one sister, Glinda R. Utley (Martin) of Kingsville; and five grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at St. Martin's Catholic Church with Fr. Jose Naul Ordonez as celebrant. Burial will follow in Kingsville at the Santa Gertrudis Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
