Gilberto Flores

Gilberto C. "Beto" Flores, age 86, passed away on Wednesday, May 31, 2016 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born on February 4, 1930 in Concepcion, Texas to Francisco Flores and Catarina Castro. He worked most of his life at K.A. Childs in the Auto Collision Repair Center as a Body Man Technician.

He was preceded in death by his wife Angelina R. Flores and his parents Francisco and Catarina Flores.

He is survived by his three daughters, Maria E. Flores (Joe Mendez) of Corpus Christi, Texas, Diana F. Valadez (Arnold) of Alice, Texas and Cindy F. Falcon (Martin) of Kingsville, Texas; two sisters, Mary F. Grimes, and Isabella Flores, both of Falfurrias, Texas; grandchildren, Oscar Ramirez Jr., Omar Ramirez, Lauren D. Flores and Steven E. Flores; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 3, 2016 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A Memorial Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, 1102 East Kleberg Street in Kingsville, Texas.
