George Gonzales

George Armando Gonzales, 66, of Riviera, Texas joined our heavenly Father on Saturday, August 15, 2015. George was born on November 20, 1948 in Kingsville, Texas. He was the owner of CG Screen Printing and More. He was also a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Kingsville where he served as a deacon. He was a Vietnam Veteran, and worked for many years and retired from Celanese Bishop Facility after 25 years. George loved and cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren, they were the light of his life. He was also the Dallas Cowboy's #1 fan.
George is preceded in death by his parents, Margarita and Andres C. Gonzalez.
George is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Carmen L. Gonzales of Riviera; one daughter, Patricia G. (Joey) Mendietta of Riviera; two sons, Andy (Tenley) Gonzales of Bishop, Texas and Javiel A. (Ligeia) Gonzales of Houston, Texas. He also leaves behind his nine loving grandchildren, Tracie, Teresa, Tres, Trista and Jacob Mendietta, Taylor Medrano, Dillan and Anley Gonzales and Isabella Gonzales; three brothers, Andres (Diana) Gonzalez of Kingsville, Joe Gonzalez of Corpus Christi, Texas and Eric Gonzalez of San Antonio, Texas; and four sisters, Janie (Arturo) Mendietta of Kingsville, Cleo (Tony) Morales of Corpus Christi, Lilia Augustine of Spring, Texas and Angelica (Luis) Garza of Calallen.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at the First Presbyterian Church, 302 West Kleberg Street, Kingsville, with Rev. Chuck Miller officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Lopez Family Cemetery, San Jose, Texas.

Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
