Gene Sheffield Jr.

Gene Sheffield, Jr., passed away on August 17, 2021 in Corpus Christi, Tx. He was born on August 10, 1955 in Corpus Christi, Tx to Gene Austin Sheffield, Sr. and Margaret Mae Evans Core. Gene was a production engineer in the oil field and loved his job. He enjoyed hunting, bowling, and spending time with family, friends and his fur- baby, Queenie.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Noma C. Sheffield, and son, Liberty Michael Hoehne.

Gene is survived by his son, Gene Austin (Lisa) Sheffield, one daughter, Freedom Larissa (Orlando) Suarez, fur-baby, Queenie, twelve grandchildren, three great grandchildren, one brother, George Core, one sister, Delores Kinnett, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held from 1p.m.-2p.m. Sunday, September 12, 2021, at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd. Kingsville, Texas with a Memorial Service to begin at 2p.m.
