Franklin White

Franklin Paige White, age 78, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2018 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born July 8, 1939 in Wharton, Texas to Orion Forrest White and Lucille Bernice Martin White. Franklin graduated with a Master's Degree from the University of Texas in Austin. He taught and became a public school principal and visionary superintendent.
Franklin was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Richard White; and sister, Betty Joyce Huser.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Suzette Maddox White of Kingsville; son, O'Ryan White and wife Griselda Gonzalez-White of Kingsville; his two grandchildren, the loves of his life, Zoe Paige White and Ian Maddox White; one brother, Dr. Orion Forrest White Jr. and wife Dr. Cynthia McSwain of Arizona; sister, Diana Grace Fields and husband Dr. Thomas Fields of Canyon Lake, Texas; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Monday, June 11, 2018 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. A Memorial Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at St. Gertrude's Catholic Church, 1120 South Eighth Street, Kingsville, with Fr. Joseph Lopez as celebrant.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
