Francisco Flores

 Francisco Flores, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on September 20, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. Born on February 9, 1949, Francisco lived a life filled with joy and brought warmth to the lives of everyone he encountered.

Known for his infectious laughter and ability to bring a smile to anyone on even the gloomiest of days, Francisco had an exceptional gift for making people laugh. He had a playful spirit and loved to joke around, effortlessly captivating the hearts of those around him. Francisco had an extraordinary talent for making friends quickly and had a natural ease in striking up conversations with anyone and everyone. His friendly demeanor and genuine interest in others made him an incredibly special person.

Francisco took pleasure in simple joys and cherished moments spent with his family. Family gatherings held a special place in his heart, where he would showcase his remarkable skills on the BBQ pit. He loved being outdoors, savoring nature's beauty and finding serenity in nature. Those who knew him, know coffee and sweets were an essential part of Francisco's day. It was during these quiet moments that he found solace and reflection. He will be remembered for his appreciation of life's small pleasures. He leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish the memories they created together. In their hearts, Francisco will live on eternally as a source of inspiration and love.

Francisco is preceded in death by his mother Carlota Cavazos; his sons David Lee Flores and Jerry Lee Flores; and his great-grandchild Lazarus Rey Hernandez.

Francisco is survived by his devoted wife of 42 years, Bernarda Flores. Their bond exemplified the strength of their love through thick and thin. Together they weathered life's storms and forged a deep connection founded on trust, laughter, and unwavering support. He will be deeply missed by his daughters Isabel (Daniel) Espinoza, Gloria (Abraham) Najera, Melissa (Armando) Cavazos; sons Jose Luis Flores, Antonio (Chanette) Flores, Martin Flores, Francisco Pena, Eloy Cavazos; sister Petra Cavazos; 13 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Francisco's love for his family was immeasurable, and he treasured every moment spent with them. He leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to flourish through the generations.

As we honor his life and mourn our loss, we invite friends and loved ones to attend the services in remembrance of Francisco Flores. Visitation will be held at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary in Kingsville on September 24, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with the holy rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. The Funeral Service will take place on September 25, 2023, at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary starting at 11:30 AM.

Following the Funeral Service, Francisco will be laid to rest at Santa Gertrudis Cemetery in Kingsville during an Interment ceremony starting at 12:45 PM. This tranquil resting place will serve as a testament to his lasting impact and a reminder of the love he shared with all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Francisco Flores touched the lives of many with his infectious laughter, kind-heartedness, and zest for life. His absence leaves an indescribable void, but the memories he created and the love he shared will forever remain in our hearts. As we bid farewell to this remarkable man, let us remember him not with sadness, but with gratitude for the privilege of having known him. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
