Frances Campos

Frances Cantu Campos, age 80, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Monday, March 6, 2017 in Kingsville. She was born May 31, 1936 in Kingsville to Jose Cantu and Guadalupe Garcia Cantu. Mrs. Campos was a retired certified nurse's assistant. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
Mrs. Campos was preceded in death by her husband, Sixto Campos; one daughter, Clarita Garcia; two grandsons, Albert Garcia and Jose Moya; parents; and two brothers, Nicolas Cantu and Rafael Cantu.
She is survived by four daughters, Ramona Moya, Lupita Portales (Gustavo), Anna Lee Garcia (Albert), all of Kingsville, and Elizabeth Travis (Bob) of Virginia Beach, Virginia; one son, Mario Campos of Kingsville; one brother, Jose Cantu (Elsie) of Robstown, Texas; three sisters, Anita Ybarra of San Juan, Texas, Gloria Rucker (Arnold) of Poteet, Texas and Rosa Rosas (Stanley) of Borger, Texas; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday, March 10, 2017 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Friday, March 10, 2017 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 11, 2017 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Fr. Romeo Salinas as celebrant. Burial will follow in Kingsville at the Santa Gertrudis Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
