Fortino G. Garcia, Sr.
Fortino G. Garcia, Sr., age 94, passed away August 8, 2020 in Kingsville, Texas. He was born on August 17, 1925 in Nuevo Leon, Mexico to Juan and Petra Garcia.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Tomasa Zepeda Garcia; several brothers; and sisters.
Fortino is survived by his children; Jacinto (Consuelo) Garcia, Juanita (Nicolas) Moreno, Gloria Perez, Sylvia Garcia, Sara (Benny) Guerra, Fortino (Eva) Garcia, Jr., Tomasita (Rudy) Trevino; 16 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; several nieces; nephews; other relatives; and friends.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 11, 2020 from 5 to 9pm with a Rosary at 7pm that same evening at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary. Funeral Mass will begin at 10am on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at St. Gertrude Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Cemeterio de la Luz, Driscoll, Texas.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd. Kingsville, Texas 78363.
