Fernando Saenz

On July 27th, 2017, Fernando Saenz, went to be with the Lord. He was born to Trinidad Saenz Montez on June 21st, 1953 in Roma-Los Saenz, Texas. Saenz was a longtime resident of Kingsville, Texas. He resided in Robstown, Texas with Agapita Flores for many years until his final day.
For all his life, Saenz was a farmer who knew tractors like the back of his hand. In his earlier years, he was employed by the King Ranch-Laureles Division. Later, he relocated to Robstown, where he continued his life as a farmer. He enjoyed fun things from fast cars and loud trucks to fishing, hunting, and gardening. He loved playing guitar, singing songs he wrote, and his dogs. Most of all, he loved his children and his grandchildren immensely.
He is welcomed in Heaven by his mother Trinidad Saenz Montez, his father Marcos Acevedo, his oldest sister Jesusa Ortega, his oldest brother Julian Montez, and his grandfather Felipe Saenz Cruz.
Saenz' family includes his six children: Cindy Saenz (Mike), Fernando Saenz, Jr. (Virginia), Melissa Rios (Ozzie), Sylvia Saenz (Derrick), Myra Saenz Moreno (Nick), and John E. Saenz (Brittney). Also included are Gloria M. Saenz, the mother of his children, 12 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
His siblings include Idolina Vega, Isabel Rosa, Angelica Rosa, Alberto Montez, Alicia Montez, and Guadalupe Adame.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday August 1, 2017 from 5pm to 9pm with a rosary to be recited at 7pm that same evening at Turcotte Piper Mortuary. A Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday August 2, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church Kingsville. TX. Interment to follow at Chamberlain Cemetery.
