Ezequiel C. Gonzalez, a devoted husband, loving father, and cherished grandfather, passed away on July 4, 2024, in his home surrounded by his family in Bishop, TX. He was born on September 12, 1944, in Goliad, Texas.

Ezequiel was a hard worker and skilled truck driver who adored his family and had a passion for classic cowboy movies, often spending evenings captivated by the stories they told. His love for music shone through his skilled guitar playing, a talent he shared with many at his church, Templo Galilea, which he was a member of for over 45 years. Beyond music, Ezequiel's carpentry skills were unmatched, leaving a lasting mark through his craftsmanship. He had a knack for numbers, a talent that served him well throughout his life.

Ezequiel's warm personality and joyous spirit were evident in his interactions with all those who crossed his path. He cherished spending time with his children and grandchildren, finding immense happiness in their company. Ezequiel shared a deep and enduring love with his wife of 60 years, and their bond was a testament to the power of true love.

Ezequiel is reunited in heaven with his parents Santiago and Dominga Gonzalez, his siblings Pablo Deluna, Anita Carmona, Nicolas Deluna, Joe Gonzalez, Ricardo Gonzalez, and Jenaro Gonzalez.

Ezequiel is survived by his sister Lucia Casas; children Ezequiel Gonzalez Jr., Dalia (Luis) Arredondo, Delia (Victor) Rangel, Delma (Steven) Salinas, Simon (Jessica) Gonzalez; grandchildren Ezequiel (Valerie) Gonzalez III, Charles Ryan (Erika) Gonzalez, Luis Michael (Brianna) Arredondo, Alfredo Julian Arredondo, Angelica Celeste Arredondo, Simon Daniel Gonzalez, Steven Daniel Salinas, Victor Alexander Fuentez, Viviana Josephine Salinas, Natalia Grace Gonzalez; great-grandchildren Luke Ryan Gonzalez, Rozlyn Marie Gonzalez, Carlos Rey Gonzalez, Remy Lou Gonzalez, Elodie Drew Gonzalez; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

A Public Viewing will take place at Turcotte Piper Mortuary on July 15, 2024, at 5:00 pm with a Prayer Service at 7:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at Templo Galilea in Bishop, Texas on July 16, 2024, at 10:00 am followed by a Graveside Service held at Evangelico Cemetery in Bishop at 11:00 am.
