Mrs. Eva Alicia De La Rosa, age 66, a resident of Riviera, Texas passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2013 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was born August 23, 1947 in Kingsville to Ezequiel Silva and Eva Flores Silva. Mrs. De La Rosa was employed for the Kenedy County Clerks Office as Chief Deputy Clerk for 31 years. She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Riviera.
Eva is survived by her husband of 38 years of marriage, Armando De La Rosa of Riviera one daughter, Amanda Joey Gonzales of Riviera one son, Armando Manny Julie De La Rosa Jr. of Kingsville, Texas one sister, Melissa Robert Walker of Plano, Texas one brother, Ezequiel Donna Silva of Flagstaff, Arizona and five grandchildren, McKahla De La Rosa, Joey and Emma Gonzales, Nathan and Ryan De La Rosa.
Visitation will take place from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday, October 27, 2013 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel. Rosary will be recited by Mr. Carlos Garza Jr. at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, October 27, 2013 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 28, 2013 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Riviera, with Fr. Peter Antony as celebrant. Burial will follow in Riviera at the Riviera Cemetery.
