Ethel Marshall

Ethel Lois Marshall, age 93, a resident of Kingsville, Texas and a former resident of the Rio Grande Valley, passed away Thursday, December 3, 2015 at her residence. She was born August 15, 1922 in Rio Hondo, Texas to Alex Boyd Herrington and Hilda E. Elliott Herrington. Mrs. Marshall was a sales clerk for Sears Roebuck Company in Harlingen and Weslaco, Texas. She was a member of the Kingsville Church of Christ.
Mrs. Marshall was preceded in death by her husband, Albert K. Marshall; parents; brother, Boyd Herrington; and sisters, Alma McEowen and Angie Carden.
She is survived by one daughter, Elaine Maca of Kingsville; one brother, Earl Herrington (Ruth) of Kerrville, Texas; one sister, Margie Hamilton (Gil) of Scottsdale, Arizona; one granddaughter, Amy Ortega (Moses) of Kingsville; two great-grandchildren, Allison Ortega and Christian Ortega; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service will be held Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at Mont Meta Memorial Park Cemetery, San Benito, Texas. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at the Kingsville Church of Christ with Minister Jim McDoniel officiating.
