Estevan Cadena

Estevan Cadena, age 49, went to be with Our Lord on January 19th, 2018. He was born on June 8, 1968 to Eduardo Cadena and Maria Elva Castillo in Alice, Texas.
Steve was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He had worked for Celanese as an operator for many years. He loved spending time with his family; BBQing was his passion when not working. He loved being a grandfather ''Gpaw'' to his grandson. Steve enjoyed going to the Spurs games, Astros games and going to music concerts which were just a few things he loved to do. Steve will be dearly missed by his family and his extended Celanese family
He survived by his beloved family, wife, Rebecca Cadena of 29 years; One, son Estevan Cadena Jr. of Kingsville, TX; two daughters, Crystal (Jeremiah) Marie Cadena of Kingsville, TX, Clarissa Annette Cadena of Kingsville, TX.; two brothers, Eduardo (Gavanda) Cadena, Jr. of Bishop, TX., Enrique (Shelly) of McAllen, TX.; one sister, Ester (Tito) Rocha of Kingsville, TX.; one grandson, Jeremiah Hesler, Jr. of Kingsville, TX.; numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and a host of friends.
Visitation will be on Tuesday January 23, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Turcotte Piper Mortuary. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening. A Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday January 24, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Martins Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Park Cemetery.
