Estella Carrion

Estella S. Carrion, age 84, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Thursday, June 23, 2016 at her residence. She was born March 31, 1932 in Kingsville to Faustino Saenz and Eva Cantu Saenz. Mrs. Carrion was a former cook for a local nursing home until her retirement. She was a faithful member of Central Baptist Church, Kingsville.
Mrs. Carrion was preceded in death by her husband, Hilario H. Carrion; and parents.
She is survived by six daughters, Mary Jane Galindo (Frank) and Lydia C. Gutierrez (Bobby), both of Kingsville, Noelia Alegria (Joe Felix) of LaPorte, Texas, Grace Hinojosa (Roy Suarez), Hilda Carrion Minter and Irma Carrion, all of Kingsville; four sons, Hilario Carrion Jr. of Corpus Christi, Texas, Noe Carrion, Roel Carrion (Delma) and Paul Carrion, all of Kingsville; three sisters, Thelma DelBosque of Ricardo, Texas, Elisa Diaz of Kingsville and Gloria Rodriguez of Concepcion, Texas; one brother, Johnny Saenz of San Antonio, Texas; 23 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will take place from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, June 26, 2016 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. A prayer service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, June 26, 2016 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Servando S. Torres Jr. and Rev. Ricky Roel Carrion officiating. Visitation will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 27, 2016 at Central Baptist Church, 901 E. Henrietta Street, Kingsville. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 27, 2016 at Central Baptist Church with Rev. Servando S. Torres Jr. and Rev. Ricky Roel Carrion officiating. Burial will follow in Kingsville at Resthaven Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
