Espiriron L. Ramos, Jr.

Espiriron L. Ramos, Jr., a dedicated family man and beloved member of the community, passed away on December 4th, 2023, at the age of 68. He was born on October 6th, 1955, to Espiriron Lomas Ramos, Sr. and Leonr Molina Ramos in Kingsville, Texas.

Espiriron had a rich and fulfilling career spanning many years. He worked diligently at the Celanese Industrial Plant for 15 years before his retirement. Even after retiring, he continued to dedicate himself to the betterment of his community by working at the Robert J. Kleberg Public Library until just recently in 2022. Outside of work, Espiriron was passionate about creating cherished memories with his loved ones. He truly enjoyed getting his family together under one roof to spend quality time together and make lasting memories that would be treasured forever. When he wasn't spending time with his family, Espiriron had a variety of interests that brought him joy. He was an avid fan of the Houston Texans football team and never missed an opportunity to cheer them on. Fishing was another pastime that gave him great pleasure as he spent peaceful moments in nature casting his lines and waiting for the perfect catch. Additionally, he took pleasure in barbequing and mastering the art of home improvement. Espiriron found great satisfaction in any project that involved a hammer and nails. Espiriron's warm and inviting presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His kindness and love for his family were truly remarkable. His memory lives on in their hearts as they cherish the countless beautiful moments shared together.

Espiriron was preceded in death by his parents, Espiriron Lomas Ramos, Sr. and Leonr Molina Ramos; his siblings, Jancito Ramos and Rosa Morales; his son, Roger Ramos; and his grandson, Bubba Lee Ramos.

He leaves behind a legacy of love and fond memories for his beloved wife of 49 years, Norma Montalvo Ramos; his sons Freddie Sr. (Miranda) Ramos and George Sr. (Regina) Ramos; and his cherished grandchildren: Hailie (RJ) Ramos, Freddie Espiriron Ramos Jr., Luke Henry Ramos, Mia JoLeigh Ramos, George Lee Ramos Jr., Gianna Leezette Ramos, Gianni Lee Ramos; and siblings: Angelita Ramos of San Diego, California; Alicia Lopez of Kingsville, Texas; Melba Ramos of Kingsville, Texas; Sylvia (Raul) Gutierrez Sr., of Harlingen, Texas; Elda Flores of Kingsville, Texas; Nelda Mitchell of Harlingen, Texas; Daniel (Glafy) Ramos, Sr., of Corpus Christi, Texas; Eliberto (Velma) Ramos of Kingsville, Texas; Herlinda Ramos of Corpus Christi, Texas; and Leonel (Wendy) Luna of Kingsville, Texas. Espiriron was further blessed with the joy of being a great-grandfather to Ezra Beck Reyes. He is also survived by numerous extended family members who were dear to him.

To honor the memory of Mr. Espiriron Lomas Ramos, Jr., a visitation will be held on December 10, 2023, at 5:00 PM followed by a funeral service at 7:00 PM, at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary. This will serve as an opportunity for loved ones and friends to come together and reflect on the memories created and time shared with Mr. Ramos.

Espiriron L. Ramos, Jr., will forever be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. His passion for life and unwavering dedication to his family serve as an inspiration to us all. May he rest in eternal peace as we hold his memory close in our hearts.
