Eric Alaniz

Eric Rene Alaniz, age 33, a resident of Cedar Park, Texas and a former resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Monday, June 15, 2015 in Cedar Park, Texas. He was born May 17, 1982 in Kingsville to Guadalupe and Maria Luisa Alaniz. Eric was a 2000 graduate of H.M. King High School and attended A&M University, Kingsville. He was employed for Intego as an IT analyst in Austin, Texas.
Eric is survived by his parents, Guadalupe and Maria Luisa Alaniz of Kingsville; two brothers, Stephen Jay Alaniz (Leilanni) of Buda, Texas and Rodney Lee Alaniz (Jennifer) of Kingsville; maternal grandmother, Manuela Loera of Kingsville; and one niece, Jenna Lee Alaniz of Kingsville.
Visitation will take place after 4:00 p.m. Sunday, June 21, 2015 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, June 21, 2015 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 22, 2015 at St. Martin Catholic Church, Kingsville. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at the Santa Gertrudis Cemetery, Kingsville, with Deacon Raul Rosales officiating.
Eric will be missed dearly.
