Enrique Carmona

Enrique Carmona, age 85, a resident of Kingsville, Texas and a former longtime resident of Bishop, Texas passed away Sunday, June 17, 2018 in Kingsville. He was born July 15, 1932 in Riviera, Texas to Julio Carmona and Gabriella Eva Castillo Carmona. Mr. Carmona was a faithful member of St. James Catholic Church, Bishop.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Viola G. Carmona; two sons, Noe Carmona and Ruben Carmona; parents; and sister, Virginia C. Hernandez.
Mr. Carmona is survived by two daughters, Norma Carmona Alaniz (Robert) of Sarita, Texas and Amy Carmona (Pete Solis) of Alvin, Texas; five sons, Henry Carmona Jr. (Teresa) of Kingsville, Leo Carmona of Bishop, Arturo Carmona of San Antonio, Texas, Julio Carmona (Charlotte) of New Haven, Connecticut and Alberto Solis (Norma) of Kingsville; one sister, Enedina Carmona Suarez (Justo) of Corpus Christi, Texas; one brother, Eustolio Carmona of Bishop; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, June 21, 2018 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, June 21, 2018 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 22, 2018 at St. James Catholic Church, 605 West Third Street, Bishop, with Fr. John Xaviour as celebrant. Burial will follow in Bishop at the St. James Catholic Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
