Emma Lerma

Emma G. Lerma, age 68, a resident of Sarita, Texas passed away Thursday, January 14, 2016 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was born October 1, 1947 in Kingsville, Texas to Jesus H. Gonzales and Rafaela Villarreal Gonzales. Mrs. Lerma was employed for the Kenedy Memorial Foundation and Kenedy County Courthouse.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years of marriage, Pedro Lerma Jr.; and parents.
Mrs. Lerma is survived by two daughters, Nora Lee Alaniz (Roel) and Lora Lee Salinas (Jesse), both of Sarita; one son, Pete Lerma III of Sarita; four brothers, Jesus V. Gonzales Jr. of Houston, Texas, Baldemar V. Gonzales Sr. of Kingsville, Omar V. Gonzales Sr. and Juan Jose V. Gonzales, both of Sarita; three sisters, Celia Alegria of Falfurrias, Texas, Elma Montiel of Riviera, Texas and Delia G. Lerma of Sarita; two grandsons, John Andrew Salinas and Cody Ray Salinas; one granddaughter, Pamela Lee Garcia Lerma; and two great-granddaughters, Bailey Nicole Lerma and Abriella Rae Garcia.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday, January 17, 2016 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Prayer service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, January 17, 2016 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 18, 2016 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Ronny Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in Riviera, Texas at Riviera Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary. 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
