Emma Leal

Emma G. Leal, age 77, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Sunday, January 5, 2014 in Kingsville. She was born February 16, 1936 in Alice, Texas to Juan Garza and Guadalupe Guevara Garza. Mrs. Leal was a member of St. Martins Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Santos Leal Sr. two sons, Santos Leal Jr. and Jose Luis Leal four sisters and one brother.
Mrs. Leal is survived by four daughters, Sylvia Roberto DeLaPaz and Maggie Leal, both of Kingsville, Anna Juan Escobar of Ben Bolt, Texas and Janie Robert Silguero of Maryland one son, Joe Edward Patricia Leal of Corpus Christi, Texas nine grandchildren 15 greatgrandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place after 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Servando Torres Jr. officiating. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at St. Martins Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Kingsville at the Santa Gertrudis Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to TurcottePiper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
