Emilio Espinoza

Emilio C. Espinoza, age 78, a resident of Riviera, Texas passed away Thursday, November 10, 2016 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born July 25, 1938 in Freer, Texas to Federico Espinoza and Lucia Cavazos Espinoza. Mr. Espinoza was employed for Enterprise Transportation until his retirement. He also did gate guard services.
Emilio was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Viola B. Espinoza (Aug. 8, 2014); two daughters, Norma Soliz and Elda Espinoza; and parents.
He is survived by one daughter, Rosa Espinoza of Riviera; son-in-law, Tom Soliz of Riviera; two sisters, Eudelia Vela of Freer, Texas and Elodia Ramirez (Ramiro) of Los Reyes Ranch, Duval County, Texas; eight grandchildren, Juan "JJ" Reynado, Jason Reynado, Omar Soliz, Mia Hinojosa, Adrian Soliz, Natalie Hinojosa, Marcus Espinoza and Gabriel Valdez; and three great-grandchildren, Brian Longoria, Logan Soliz and Finley Reynado.
Pubic visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday, November 13, 2016 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Rosary will be recited by Gracie Uribe-Cano at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, November 13, 2016 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 14, 2016 at St. Martin's Catholic Church, 715 North 8th Street, Kingsville. Burial will follow at Los Reyes Cemetery at Los Reyes Ranch, Duval County, Texas.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
