Elsie Baker

Elsie Louise Smith Baker came into this world June 28, 1933 and departed this world July 8, 2020.

She was preceded in death by Thomas Cecil Baker, her husband of 47 years, her parents, Alexander Curtis and Willie Bertha Smith and three sisters, Barbara, Marjorie, and Catherine.

She is survived by four sons:  Tom and wife Beth, Jarrell and wife Rose, Michael and wife Starlyn, Stephen and wife Windy; ten grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren; her sister Linda and her brother Al, Jr.

Elsie taught second grade at Bishop Elementary School for over 30 years.  She was an active member of Bishop Church of Christ.

Visitation and viewing will be held at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary in Kingsville on Monday, July 13, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Interment will be at 10 am on Tuesday, July 14, at Restland Memory Park in Bishop.

Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd. Kingsville, Texas 78363.
