Eloise Lefler

Our beloved mother, Eloise Cano Lefler, 84, passed away September 6, 2022.  She was born January 8, 1938 in Karnes City, Texas to Ramon and Louisa Cano.  She graduated from Texas A&I University in 1972 with a Bachelors and Masters in Education.  She taught for 32 years beginning her career for Robstown ISD for two years as a 2nd Grade teacher and for Bishop ISD for 30 years as a 5th Grade teacher.  She was very proud of the work she did and the lives she helped shape.  She loved catching up with her past students whether in person or on FaceBook.  Traveling with her husband, Randy was one of her favorite things to do.  Her passions were sewing and spending quality time with her children and grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband, Randy Lefler and her sister, Sue Cano.

She is survived by her son, Moses Aguilar, Jr (Michelle), her daughter, Debra Munoz (Tito), four grandchildren Loren de la Santos (Jared), Ashle Miller (Mike), Taryn Bechtol (Steven) and Dustin Aguilar, and four great grandchildren, Colton, Hudson, Oliver and Jack and finally Hank, her beloved dog and sidekick.

Services are on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.  Burial services will be on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at 9:00 am at Fort Sam Houston Cemetery
