Elizabeth Turcotte

After a full life, Elizabeth Stella Turcotte passed peacefully on September 3, 2022. Elizabeth was raised in Kingsville and Sarita, Texas. She had a beautiful voice and loved to play the piano. Elizabeth was a Carmelite Sister located in Blissfield, MI, and taught school at St. Cyril Methodius in Corpus Christi, TX. She obtained a nursing degree and worked as a nurse in Albuquerque, NM. After her retirement, she moved to Corpus Christi enjoying her family, ranching activities, and music. She was a member of the New Neighbor League. Elizabeth was a lifelong devout Catholic and a member of John the Baptist Catholic Church.

She was the only daughter of Louis Edgar Turcotte Sr. and Elizabeth Anderson Turcotte. Elizabeth was the youngest sibling of five brothers: Louis, Pat, Jack, Joe, and Bobby. She is survived by a large and loving family; her sisters-in-law, Jean Claire (Joe), Barbara Sue (Jack) and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive condolences on Friday, September 9, 2022, at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM; with a holy rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. Elizabeth will be laid to rest in a private ceremony, at La Parra Ranch.

The family would like to thank the caretakers, nurses, and friends for their support of Elizabeth at the end of her life.
