Elena Perez

Elena R. Perez, age 71 went to be with our Lord on April 6, 2016 with her beloved family at her side. Elena was born on March 26, 1945 to Ismael Rodriguez and Dolores Vidal on the King Ranch

Elena had retired as a receptionist for Dr. Norman L. Smith an optometrist in Kingsville, TX.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband David Perez Sr., and her parents.

She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. She leaves behind to cherish her memories, her children, Melissa (Jose) Valadez, Michael (Linda) Perez, Sr., Sandra (Teodoro Jr.) Suarez, David (Priscilla) Perez, Jr. and Gilberto Garza.; sister, Rachel Henderson; brother, Juan Rodriguez; thirteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held Friday April 8, 2016 at Turcotte Piper Mortuary from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A holy rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening. A Funeral Mass is going to be celebrated Saturday April 9th 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Gertrude's Catholic Church. Interment will be private. Services are entrusted by Turcotte Piper Mortuary in Kingsville, Texas.
