Eleazar Garcia

Eleazar M. Garcia, age 76, passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 in Kingsville, Texas. He was born on April 14, 1940 in Bishop, Texas to Enrique Garcia and Eloisa Marquez Garcia. Mr. Garcia was a long life resident of Kingsville, he served in the United States Army, he then retired from the Naval Air Station after 25 years of service. He was the owner of America & Sons Asphalt Company. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, who loved his family dearly and enjoyed being with his grandchildren. He was an avid gardener and a proud Texan fan. He played the guitar and enjoyed singing, as well as enjoyed going to church. He loved the Lord very much.

He is proceeded in death by his parents; one granddaughter Cassy; one brother Rick Garcia; two sisters, Eloisa Quintanilla, and Edna Rodriguez.

Eleazar is survived by his wife of 55 years of marriage, Olivia Montoya Garcia of Kingsville; four children, Belia Garcia of Kingsville, Roel (Lydia) Garcia of Kingsville, Eddie Garcia of Kingsville, and Cindy (Mark) Garcia of Kingsville; four brothers, Eddie Garcia of Virginia, Luis Garcia of Kingsville, Eliseo Garcia of Kingsville, Felipe Garcia of Palestine, Tx; one sister Eva Eliza Patterson of Alabama; 8 grandchildren, Omar Garcia, Amanda Garcia, Erica Garcia, Hector Garcia, Marina Arevalo, Elizabeth Peña, Julia Garcia, and Marky Garcia; and 13 ½ great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 25, 2016 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Prayer Service will be at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 25, 2016. Funeral Service will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 26, 2016 at the Central Baptist Church located at 901 E. Henrietta St. in Kingsville, Texas. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
