Edwy Simons

Edwy Jeanne Nelson Simons, age 89, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Monday, February 3, 2014 in Kingsville. She was born in Kingsville to Edwin Nelson and Lois Cornelius Nelson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Capen Simons and parents.
Mrs. Simons is survived by two sons, Robert E. Simons of Denton, Texas and Charles A. Simons Janis of Kingsville two grandsons, Derek Simons of Bonham, Texas and Derek Edge of Bishop, Texas two granddaughters, Allison Edge Aguirre Bobby of San Antonio, Texas and Natasha Simons of Bonham, Texas one sister, Barbara Bobbie Rasmussen and numerous cherished nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place Saturday, February 8, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 8, 2014 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Chuck Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Kingsville at Chamberlain Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to TurcottePiper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
