Edward Lewis Bahn, 91, a resident of Corpus Christi, Texas and a former resident of Bishop, Sandia and Lake Hills, Texas passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2017 in Corpus Christi. Ed was born October 20, 1925 in Driscoll, Texas to Lewis and Emma Bahn. He was a longtime farmer in the Bishop/Driscoll area and was a lifelong member of St. John Lutheran Church, Bishop.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice Bahn; parents; son, John Matlock; and sister, Joyce Clinger (Arthur).
Ed is survived by two daughters, Dr. Yvonne Landavazo (Mel) of Corpus Christi and Helen Lee of Cedar Creek, Texas; six grandchildren, Eddie Landavazo (Shelly) of Frisco, Texas, Dee Dee Biegle (Charlie) of Kihei, Maui, Jeania Knopik (Brian) of Crosby, Texas, Ronda Barrington (Jim) of Friendswood, Texas, Tashia Johnson of Beaumont, Texas and Kenneth Matlock (Kristy) of Jefferson, Texas; 14 great-grandchildren; two ½ great-great-grandchildren; favorite cousin, Callie Mae Haug of Victoria, Texas; and favorite niece, Katrina Doran (Denny) of Dallas, Texas.
Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 13, 2017 at St. John Lutheran Church, 301 East Main St., Bishop. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 13, 2017 at St. John Lutheran Church with Deacon Joel Nye officiating. Burial will follow in Bishop at Restland Cemetery.
