Eduardo Martinez Jr.

Eduardo Martinez, Jr., passed away on August 16, 2021, at the age of 88 in Alice, Tx. Eduardo was a loving and caring husband, son, brother, father, and grandfather.  He was born on February 10, 1933, in Sarita, Tx to Eduardo Martinez, Sr. and Esther Salinas Martinez. Eduardo was a veteran in the Army. He was a faithful member of the St. Joseph Mutualista, and Knights of Columbus; and was a member of St. Martins Catholic Church. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Eduardo Martinez Sr. and Esther Salinas Martinez, wife, Emilia Cadriel Martinez, son, Eduardo Martinez III, and two brothers, Emilio Martinez, and Esteban Martinez.

Eduardo is survived by his daughter, Estella Martinez Ybarra, son- in- law, Irineo Ybarra III, grandchildren, Irineo M Ybarra IV, and Adriana Emilia M. Ybarra, daughter-in-law, Velma Guzman Martinez, one sister, Esperanza Cantu and numerous nieces, and nephews.

A wake will take place at 11 a.m. with a blessing at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, August 23, 2021 at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd. Kingsville, Tx. A Graveside service will begin at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, August 23, 2021 at Chamberlain Cemetery.
