Edna Soliz

Edna Perez Soliz, age 87, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Friday, July 3, 2015 at her residence. She was born December 16, 1927 in Concepcion, Texas to Fidel Perez and Natividad Martinez Perez. She attended Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, Kingsville.
Mrs. Soliz was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Guadalupe P. Solis; two daughters, Yolanda S. Rodriguez and Gloria S. Gonzalez; three sons, Roberto "Bobby" Soliz, David Soliz and Alfredo "Freddy" Soliz; and parents.
She is survived by five sons, Guadalupe Soliz (Rosie) and Johnny Soliz (Margie), both of Kingsville, Danny Soliz (Linda) of Houston, Texas, Noe Soliz of Corpus Christi, Texas and Joe Soliz (Marisol) of Fort Myers, Florida; one daughter, Sandra S. Espurvoa (Adam) of Kingsville; two sisters, Belia Navarro of Raymondville, Texas and Arabella Perez of Brownsville, Texas; three brothers, Teodoro Perez of Premont, Texas, Chente Perez of La Murilla Ranch, Texas and Fidel Perez Jr. of San Antonio, Texas; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will take place after 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. A Celebration Service (Eulogy Service) will take place at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel followed by a Rosary. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Mission, Concepcion, Texas with Fr. John C. Ouellette as celebrant. Burial will follow at Perez Cemetery, Concepcion, Texas.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
