Eden Ramos

Eden P. Ramos, 61, a lifelong resident of Kingsville, went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 12, 2017. He was born September 7, 1955 in Kingsville, Texas to Roberto and Elida Ramos. He was a 1974 graduate of H.M. King High School and a United States Navy Veteran. Ramos was employed with the Corpus Christi Army Depot for 20 plus years until his retirement.
Ramos was a Christian man who was loving, generous, and devoted to his family. He loved to read the bible completely, attend church, watch spiritual programs, spread the gospel, and anything else he could do to help the church and people who really needed help. Mr. Ramos was a very selfless man, he always put other people's needs ahead of his own. He was always more than willing to help and not ask for anything in return.
He also enjoyed many activities. For example, anytime he was with his son he was completely happy. They did things such as take frequent trips to Corpus, attend the movie theater, sporting events, play sports, dine out, cooking together, going to the library, take frequent car rides, have long discussions about interesting topics, among other activities. He also very much enjoyed spending time and doing activities with his first granddaughter Ava. He loved to play sports with her, watch movies, attend bingo, attend her ballet and other similar programs, play board games, dine out and treat her to desserts, play toys with her, attend school events and other special occasions such as birthday parties, among other activities.
Ramos was preceded in death by his grandchildren Angel Sky Suazo and Azul Sky Suazo. He is also preceded in death by his grandparents. Mr. and Mrs. Victor Ramos and Mr. and Mrs. Felix Perez.
He is survived by his parents Roberto and Elida Ramos of Kingsville, his two children, Hope Marie Ramos (Francisco Suazo) of Kingsville, and Joshua Eden Ramos of Kingsville. Mother of his children, Angela Rodriguez of Kingsville. Sisters include Selina Benavides (Roel) of Kingsville, Linda Garcia (Oscar) of Taft, Sandra Charles (Ben) of Kingsville. Five grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation and celebration of life will be held on Monday, June 19, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer at 6 p.m. and rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Burial Services will be held on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery in Corpus Christi, Texas.
