Earl King

Earl King, a cherished father, brother, and a beloved member of the Kingsville community, passed away peacefully at home on September 26, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones. Born on July 4, 1946, in Kingsville, Texas, Earl was a man who truly embodied the spirit of love and dedication.

With more than 30 years of service at Motor Service Inc., Earl made a significant impact through his work and was known for his reliability and commitment. He poured his heart into every task, reflecting the same dedication at work that he exemplified in his family life. Earl’s legacy of hard work and tenacity will not be forgotten by those who had the privilege to work alongside him.

Earl's life was marked by his deep passions and interests. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed shooting pool. A true handyman, Earl had a knack for working on small engines, embodying a spirit of ingenuity and persistence that endeared him to all who knew him. His love for family was palpable, and he cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren, creating lasting memories that will be treasured by his family for years to come.

Earl is survived by his daughters, Terri Hudson, Cathy King, Tammi Saenz, Michelle Zarate, Jessica King, and Shasha King. He also leaves behind his beloved sisters Dorothy Hobson and Jewel King, and brothers Ernest King and Robert King. In addition, Earl was surrounded by a loving bar family and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom will greatly miss his warmth and presence.

He was predeceased by his loving wife, Desiree King, a bond that defined many years of his life, and his beloved granddaughter, Tamia King. Earl is also remembered fondly by several brothers and sisters who have preceded him. Earl will be remembered fondly by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. king

A visitation to celebrate Earl's life will be held on October 10, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, located at 205 General Cavazos Blvd, Kingsville, TX. The funeral service will take place the following day, October 11, 2024, at 11:00 AM, also at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, with burial following at Santa Gertrudis Cemetery at 12:00 PM.

Earl King’s legacy will live on through the lives he touched, the love he shared, and the memories he created with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered.
