Dustin Garcia

Dustin Cody Garcia, passed away on Monday, July 26, 2021, at the young age of 24.  He was born on December 29, 1996, in Kingsville, TX to Mike and Gina Garcia.  Cody was a loving and caring son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend. He enjoyed hunting and fishing; and was a big teddy bear to all.  Cody will be deeply missed by all whom knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Augustine Garcia, Sr.; and maternal great-grandfather, Jose V. Saldana.

Among those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Mike and Gina Garcia; sister, Dana (David) Cavazos; brother, Michael (Nancy) Garcia; paternal grandmother, Francisca Garcia; maternal grandmother, Maria (Julian) Saldana; maternal grandfather, Ricardo Arrellano; paternal great-grandmother, Oralia M. Saldana; nephews, Michael Zayden Garcia, Eloy David “Tres” Cavazos, III; niece, Zaylee Nicole Garcia; and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, friends, and extended family.

The family will receive condolences on Friday, August 6, 2021, at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM; with a holy rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM.  Funeral procession will depart the funeral chapel on Saturday, August 7, 2021, at 9:30 AM to St. Joseph Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated at 10:00 AM.  A Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Chamberlain Cemetery.
